I’m Serafyma, a Web & Graphic Designer and No-Code Developer from Ukraine with 4+ years of experience. I have international experience, work across different industries, and don’t limit myself to one style or format. I’m interested in design that combines a strong visual idea, clear structure, and a deep understanding of the brand — from the first concept to the final digital product.
I didn’t enter design with a clear plan, nor did I study it formally at university. I graduated with a degree in a field unrelated to design. During my studies, I gradually became interested in design and eventually decided to explore it professionally.
I started from scratch. My first knowledge came from free courses on Coursera, documentation, YouTube, and a lot of self-study. I never had a paid mentor or a single course that taught me everything. Most of what I know today, I learned on my own — through practice, research, mistakes, and real projects.
Today, I work with more than just the visual side of a project. I can take a project from the initial idea all the way to launch.
Design has never been just about creating beautiful screens for me. I believe a designer is not a contractor who simply follows a list of tasks. A good designer should understand the business, ask questions, identify problems, propose solutions, and act as a partner throughout the process.
I don’t believe in universal rules like “this design is right and that one is wrong.” Context matters. To me, a reference is a source of inspiration, not a blueprint to copy. More complex doesn’t mean better. And a beautiful website isn’t necessarily a good website.
It’s important to me that the visual side works together with the content. I pay particular attention to typography, composition, media, structure, and the way people experience a brand through its visual communication.
At the same time, I don’t want to limit myself to one style or one industry. I enjoy working with minimalist, experimental, emotional, and more bold visual directions. I like trying new things and developing my own taste rather than following one formula.
I value trust between a client and a designer. I want to be able to do more than simply receive a brief — to challenge a decision when I see a better direction, explain my perspective, and work together toward the best possible result.
I’m not interested in simply creating design. I’m interested in thinking, researching, creating, and gradually developing my own perspective on what good design can be.
